Following extensive selection procedures, The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust chose Caledonian Building Systems to design, manufacture and install a new 756 sq m Department of Opthamology, within their Harlow site.
Designed to meet operational requirements, environmental considerations, strict budget parameters and a very short timeframe, the Caledonian pre-engineered solution for Harlow took 14 weeks, from design approvals to erection (on site) completion, with a further 10 weeks for installation of equipment and furnishings before commissioning.

The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust provided detailed specification and functional requirements for the new centre which had to be met within the framework of the initial tender.
