RAF Wittering - Peterborough, Cambs

Part of the national construction programme supporting the SLAM (single living accommodation modernisation) project. The two buildings constructed at the RAF Wittering base are the new evolved 'T' shape design incorporating 96 bedrooms and associated utility and common rooms built over 4 storeys.
Each building contained 56 modules which where complete in the factory in just 38 days. Once delivered to site, handover was achieved in less than 6 months.

The buildings also benefited from 'improved' CTM (Counter Terrorist Measures) to ensure the safety of the occupants in the event of a bomb attack. This work was also carried out in the factory.
