Buildings are designed to meet current Building Regulation requirements and can be enhanced to meet specific client needs such as meeting Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4.  We are regularly asked about compliance with certain Building Regulations which are covered below at high level.

Part B

Caledonian holds 2 hour fire certification

Part L 2A

Modules are insulated to comply with current requirements and can be enhanced through the use of different forms of insulation within the modules or as part of the cladding system.

Part M

Buildings are designed along with clients / client's professional teams to ensure compliance with Part M. Floors can be adapted to ensure items such as shower trays can be sunk into the floor cassette to provide level access.

  • Recycled content >25%
  • Thermal mass through concrete floors
  • CTM (Counter Terrorist Measures – Normal, Improved, Exceptional), HMPrison Service Standards, MoD Standards (JSP, DMG etc.)
