Sizes & Shapes
Modules are designed to suit individual projects. Within the design, there are a number of parameters that need to be considered which are driven by the need to transport loads by road. Maximum dimensions to modules are as follows:
Length 18000mm
Height 4100mm
Width 5000mm*
*The maximum transport width which does not require an escort vehicle is 4200mm. Loads of up to 5000mm have been constructed but from an economical point of view a maximum 4200mm width is a good guide.
Modules do not need to be rectangular and a range of shapes can be linked to create interesting buildings that suit site and architectural requirements. Faceted modules can provide for a curve or wave shape within a building. Awkward shapes around cores can be accommodated with cutbacks and wedge shaped modules.
